Service One

Kung-Fu for Christ is a sports- and faith-based program that engages in community work, evangelism and discipleship through martial arts. Kung-Fu for Christ uses sport as a creative response to address social issues (e.g., exclusion, poverty) through community work rooted in Christianity.
Kung-Fu for Christ offers a place of belonging to children, adults, and families from all walks of life. It serves those who tend to be left out of traditional sports and social services including those struggling with mental illnesses, substance use, and low income.
This program offers four classes a week year-round:

Two classes to the community where we share the gospel with approximately 50 children and 20 adults per week followed by a youth-led bible study attended by 25-30 children.
Two leadership classes, one for adults who are taught how to encourage students to live up to their Godly potential and one for youth leaders who are taught Christ-centered leadership skills useful in the program itself as well as in their homes, schools, and communities.

Why give to Kung-Fu for Christ?Given its commitment to serving the community, since 2013, Kung-Fu for Christ has offered programming free of charge to students.
Donations to the program are used to cover ongoing operational fees including uniforms and belts, Bibles, and training equipment.
